Had a massive oil leak in my 2005 Chevy Equinox. Was looking at a 2200 dollar repair from my mechanic. Purchased the titan oil stop leak and it worked.

There are two types of Oil Stop Leaks. “Oil Thickeners”(which would include brands like Lucas, Bars, STP)…and “Seal Re-Conditioners” like Titan.

I had the same problem in my Deville. It seems these cadillacs all either have this oil leak problem or will get this oil leak problem at some time. What dis you use?

The Lucas and Bars products both make your oil thicker so you may not want to use either one as they will increase your oil compression which is not good.

My 2004 Honda Civic is leaking oil. The mechanic say its coming from the rear main and the oil pan. I’m in college and seriously can’t afford to have those parts of the car replaced. Any advice would be really appreciated.

I used the Titan sealer in my Freightliner Cascadia a few years ago and Its still holding. It had a few oil leaks nothing horrible. Anyway just thought i’d let you know its worth trying… Cheaper than tear-downs.

I had the same problem on my Subaru. Tried Blue Devil oil stop leak and lucas both didn’t work. My mechanic told me about Titan oil stop leak cause he’s used their head gasket sealer many times with good results. So I bought a bottle for my Tribeca.

I tried Blue Devil Oil Stop Leak on my 2007 Lexus to stop oil leak and it was very hard to use. First it took me almost 30 minutes to pour the blue devil oil stop.

My 2002 Subaru Outback leaking oil from head and block! I tried lucas oil stop leak first cause it was cheaper but it didn’t actually help at all. Then I used titan oil stop leak and it worked! Only took about 100 miles of driving to get a full seal going.

Back to that oil leak you discovered. There are a few places the oil leak could be coming from. The trick is figuring out the source of the leak and how fast it's coming out. The most reliable way to ring the source of your oil leak is to clean the engine.
